Dr. Frank Sy
Periodontist
Dr. Frank Sy is a board-certified periodontist and a volunteer adjunct assistant professor of clinical dentistry at the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at USC, Dental Public Health and Community Outreach (Special Needs, Geriatrics and Behavioral Sciences). He received his dental training from Boston University, School of Dental Medicine, and he completed his general practice residency at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY, and then completed his speciality training in periodontics at New York University.
Dr. Sy is also the graduate of the renowned Kois Center and the Dawson Academy. He trained with Dr. Pat Allen to provide minimally invasive soft tissue grafting for teeth and implants.
Dr. Sy serves as an adjunct assistant professor of clinical dentistry for both Periodontology and Special Patients Clinic at USC School of Dentistry. He also completed his second masters program—Orofacial Pain & Oral Medicine Masters Program—at the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry.
Dr. Sy is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration, and International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
